The Palo Verde National Park and Cipanci Wildlife Refuge in Costa Rica offer visitors the opportunity to observe a wide variety of bird and animal species in their natural habitats. The ACT sector of the Cipanci Refuge is open from 8 am to 4 pm daily, and admission is $12 for adults and $5 for children.

Visitors can explore the park on foot or by boat, taking in the diverse ecosystems of wetlands, dry forests, and mangrove swamps. Some of the park's most notable wildlife includes crocodiles, monkeys, and over 300 species of birds.

Nearby attractions include the Guaitil Pottery Village, where visitors can watch artisans create traditional Costa Rican pottery, and the town of Santa Cruz, which hosts a weekly farmer's market on Sundays. The nearby beaches of Guanacaste, such as Tamarindo and Playa Flamingo, are also popular destinations for surfing and sunbathing.
